Healthcare Analyst

The Healthcare Analyst is responsible for working with several key vendor partners to ensure data accuracy and successful completion of key monthly projects and tasks, as well as with internal individuals and departments to create analytical models and manage regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Risk Adjustment Chart chases, brainstorming to deal with obstacles and maintaining weekly dashboard
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation of key data feeds
  • Supporting build of provider directory files for various constituencies and performing reconciliations as needed
  • Create analytical models as needed for interpreting data from documents
  • Responsible for various regulatory submissions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 1-3 years data analytics experience
  • Healthcare data analytics experience
  • SQL Server experience, including development
    • Experience with MSSQL Server 2008/2012 , including:
      • Proficiency with query design, stored procedures, views and functions
      • Managing large databases and/or data warehousing
    • Setting up agents, automating processes, SSAS, access management
    • Cubes
    • Troubleshooting development issues (processes breaking and how to find the issue and fix)
    • Relational database modeling
    • Creating data feed structures with vendors
    • Pushing data to and from vendors
    • Creating submissions to regulatory agencies
