Regulatory Counsel

This position provides guidance and support to the company by monitoring and advising on applicable state and federal laws, and keeping up to date on changes in regulatory guidance. Under the direction of the General Counsel, the Regulatory Analyst works with state and federal regulators and with other industry group. When needed, s/he represents Minuteman Health at any legislative/regulatory hearings.


  • Track and monitor legislation and regulations impacting Minuteman Health.
  • Advise and consult with medical management, provider relations, finance, product development, and other Minuteman departments as needed.
  • Prepare all regulatory submissions for the company.
  • Work with state and federal regulators as needed to assure Minuteman is in compliance.

  • JD Degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a legal or regulatory role in a health insurance environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the MA health insurance market, including applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of other New England states, and NH in particular, preferred.
  • Proven track record of working with state and federal regulators.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
