Minuteman Health adds five New Hamsphire Hospitals to In-Plan Network

BOSTON 7/9/2014 – Minuteman Health (http://www.minutemanhealth.org) today announced the addition of St. Joseph Hospital (Nashua), Memorial Hospital (North Conway), Huggins Hospital (Wolfeboro), Speare Hospital (Plymouth), and Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (Lebanon) to the company’s New Hampshire In-Plan network. Minuteman's New Hampshire provider network continues to grow and discussions with other hospitals in the state are ongoing, said Minuteman New Hampshire executive director Glenn Klink. “We’re very happy with the progress so far with our network build-out, and we’re looking forward to working with these and other providers to bring a new concept in health care to New Hampshire members in 2015,” Klink said. St. Joseph is a 208-bed acute care regional hospital serving the Greater Nashua area, western New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. According to the American Hospital Association, in 2012 the hospital had a total of 6,156 admissions and treated 33,159 patients in its emergency room. Its physicians performed 1,168 inpatient and 3,619 outpatient surgeries. Memorial, Huggins, Speare, and Alice Peck Day Memorial are critical access community hospitals.
