BOSTON 5/7/2014 – Minuteman Health (http://www.minutemanhealth.org) has launched an advertising campaign aimed at introducing the company and its products to hospitals, physicians and other health care providers in New Hampshire. The ads, created by the Charlestown, MA firm WCM Partners, ran in the state’s three largest newspapers (The New Hampshire Union Leader, the Concord Monitor and the Nashua Telegraph) last Sunday and will run again on Thursday, May 8 and Sunday, May 11. “It’s time for a new idea in health insurance for New Hampshire doctors, hospitals and consumers,” the ads read. “It’s time for Minuteman Health.” The ads will be followed up by a postcard mailing campaign to health care provider across the state. Glenn Klink, executive director of Minuteman Health New Hampshire, said the ad and postcard campaigns are designed to raise awareness among providers of Minuteman’s unique approach to health care and the company’s consumer-driven structure. “We’re starting to meet with providers across the state and we have a very powerful message: to return control of care management to health professionals and their patients. That’s what the ads say, and that’s what Minuteman will do,” Klink said.
Minuteman Health is a new member-governed, non-profit health insurance option for Massachusetts’ residents. The company intends to offer individuals and small businesses lower-cost high-quality care with unprecedented transparency, increased efficiency and its unique member-governance structure. Plan members will directly participate by electing the board of directors, becoming board members and providing input for cost management and service delivery. Minuteman will be marketed through their website, brokers and the Massachusetts Health Connector.
