Minuteman Health General Counsel Susan Brown named to Boston Business Journal’s “40 under 40” list

MANCHESTER – Minuteman Health’s General Counsel Susan Brown has been named to the Boston Business Journal’s prestigious “40 under 40” list for 2014. The list honors forty men and women under the age of 40 who have made an impact on Boston’s business, civic and political communities. “All of us at Minuteman are incredibly proud of Susan for her selection to the 40 under 40 list, though no one here is surprised by it. Susan’s leadership qualities, work ethic, and knowledge of the insurance market and government regulatory process make her a natural for the list,” said Minuteman CEO Tom Policelli. Before joining Minuteman, Brown worked as Associate Counsel at Tufts Medical Center, and served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health Care Division under Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley. During her tenure at the Attorney General’s Office, Brown was a primary investigator and author of General Coakley's ground-breaking examination of health care cost drivers that has brought unprecedented transparency to the health care system. Brown is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of North Carolina School of Law.
