Minuteman Board Chairwoman Ellen Zane receives Leadership in Corporate Governance Award

BOSTON 2/12/2015 – Ellen Zane, chairwoman of Minuteman Health’s board of directors, has received the Leadership in Corporate Governance award from the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) New England Chapter.

Zane, a nationally-known health care leader who recently retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tufts Medical Center and the Floating Hospital for Children, joins such business luminaries as Thomas Ryan, former President and CEO of CVS/Caremark, and Cathy Minehan, former CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and current Dean of the School of Management at Simmons College in receiving the award.

“This is a well-deserved honor for Ellen. Her career has been marked by one success after another, and we at Minuteman have been extremely fortunate to benefit from her industry knowledge and business acumen,” said Thomas Policelli, CEO of Minuteman.

The NACD will honor Zane at its award ceremony on April 29 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.
